How much do you pay drivers?
- Lease Drivers: 80% of the rate confirmation
- W2 Flatbed Drivers: 28%
- W2 Reefer Drivers: 27%
All drivers have full visibility of the rate for each load.
Do you offer benefits?
- W2 Company Drivers: Eligible for a full range of benefits.
- Lease Purchase Drivers: Responsible for providing their own benefits as owner-operators. Elective options are available for Occupational Accident, Non-Trucking Liability, Physical Damage, and supplemental group policies.
Where do you operate?
- Flatbed: We run east of Interstate 35.
- Reefer: We operate in six states in the Northeast.
Where do you hire?
- We hire drivers from areas east of Interstate 35.
Do you allow pets and riders?
- Pets: Dogs are allowed; no cats at this time.
- Riders: Allowed if over the age of 12. Riders between ages 12-17 are permitted only during off-school months, subject to company discretion.
How do I get to orientation?
- We provide rental cars or flights for transportation to orientation.
When does orientation start?
- Orientation begins every Tuesday in Gary, Indiana, and typically lasts up to 3 days. Drivers are paid $150 per day during orientation.
How much experience do you require?
- A minimum of 12 months of driving experience is required. For flatbed positions, at least 6 months of flatbed experience is necessary.
Do you have sufficient freight for drivers?
- Yes, our drivers consistently perform well with the freight available.
Do you use driver-facing cameras?
- No, we do not use driver-facing cameras. However, we do have forward-facing cameras for safety.
Can drivers take the truck home?
- Yes, drivers are allowed to take their trucks home.
Do you pay W2 or 1099?
- Company Drivers: Paid as W2 employees.
- Lease Purchase Drivers: Paid as 1099 contractors.
Do you hire SAP drivers?
- No, we do not hire SAP drivers.
What is the speed limit of your trucks?
- Our trucks are governed at 70 mph.
Do you have automatic and manual transmission trucks?
- We offer both automatic and manual trucks. However, there is currently a waiting list for manual trucks, so please check with recruiting for availability.
What types of trucks do you have?
- We operate Peterbilt, Freightliner, and Kenworth trucks.
